I'm interested in learning how correctional agencies are currently approaching the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
A few questions for the group:
- Does your agency currently utilize AI in any capacity?
- If so, how is your agency using AI? (Examples: report writing, policy development, training, scheduling, investigations, inmate management, video review, administrative tasks, etc.)
- Does your agency have a policy governing the use of AI by staff?
- If you have an AI policy and are willing to share it, would you mind posting it or sending me a copy?
As AI continues to evolve, I believe it's important that we learn from one another and develop best practices for its responsible use in corrections. I appreciate any insight, experiences, or resources you're willing to share.
