Corrections1.com is currently running a national poll to select the best corrections recruitment video of 2025, and we're proud to share that two of the finalists come from true jail systems that are part of the AJA family.
Our current AJA board member and past AJA president Chief @Louis Quinones' agency, the Orange County Corrections Department (Florida), has been selected as one of the Top 5 recruitment videos with their powerful piece, "Step into something bigger."
Joining them on the finalist list are our friends at the New York City Department of Correction led by Commissioner @Lynelle Maginley-Liddie with their inspiring video "Be bold."
These are the only two true jail systems represented among the five finalists. The other agencies in the competition are:
Federal Bureau of Prisons
Delaware Department of Correction (unified system)
Montana Department of Corrections (state prison system)
Corrections1 is asking the public to vote for the video that best represents the work, mission and spirit of corrections.
Voting is open through December 28, and you can vote more than once.
