I am doing research on departments that either provide childcare services to their staff or have considered doing so in the past. Specifically, I am looking at how access to childcare services relate to recruitment and retention of correctional employees. Especially for those assigned to shift and evening/night work. If you know of an agency or department that provides childcare services for their employees or if your agency does, I would love to get the names of those agencies and contact information. I would also be interested to know if the childcare services are provided on site by the facility and only to correctional employees, or is it provided to all public safety employees, is the services provided by the agency, municipality or governing body; or is there some type of reimbursement that the agency governing entity provides to the employee to obtain their own childcare provider, etc. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated and feel free to forward this request to other collogues you may have. I am ultimately looking to do a survey with some of these agencies.
