I do believe this topic may have been addressed a year ago or more, but I wanted some feedback from other jails. We had a jail inmate informant mention that when a bible is bought from certain bookstores, the person will buy an identical bible laced with drugs on the pages and have it delivered from the bookstore to the inmate in jail and place the new one they bought back on the shelf. This would also be true of any book bought in the same fashion.
Do any of you have rules against books/religious materials being purchased from bookstores for these types of reasons?
