The Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department is seeking information regarding other agencies' "Emergency Communication Protocols." Does your agency use satellite phones and/or alternative communication options during emergencies to ensure reliable communication in scenarios such as hurricanes, power outages, or other man-made or natural disasters, where traditional communication infrastructure may be compromised?
I would also appreciate any available data on the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of satellite phones, as well as information on other viable communication methods that could serve as alternatives in critical situations.
