We are recently dealing with an influx of inmates with artificial hair such as wigs, weaves, extensions, and microbraids. I am looking to see how other facilities handle this. As of now we tell them it must be removed unless there is a documented medical reason to support its need. We are getting a lot of pushback and issues from the inmates.
