I have attached for your reading pleasure the FCC Notice of Proposed Rule Making for the FCC ruling from last week.
The only good news I see so far is on page 306 where it delays the required implementation date by about a year if you have an existing contract that would conflict with the rule.
AJA will be putting more information out to the membership as we continue to get clarification on the topic.
If any members receive updates on this topic from any jail associations, sheriff's associations, or county associations I'd be very interested in seeing those.
