I recently accepted the position of Chief of Security at the Bolivar County Regional Correctional Facility in Mississippi. Our facility is currently experiencing a shortage of essential security and operational equipment, and we are seeking grant opportunities to help purchase or replace these critical items.
I would greatly appreciate any information or guidance you can provide regarding federal, state, local, or private grants available to correctional facilities and public-safety agencies. I am particularly interested in funding for security equipment, communication systems, surveillance technology, staff safety equipment, emergency-response supplies, and other essential facility needs.
