Our agency is attempting to implement permanent shift. We have decided to go to 2 permanent shifts and 2 rotating shift to start off with. We would like to have a bidding or lottery session once a year where the Officer would be able to bid on changing their current shift. Does anyone have a policy on how to implement this at all. We are starting to get kickback from staff that feel they deserve permanent days even though I was very clear that I could not guarantee what shift they would fall under.
