    Dear Jail Administrators,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Kyle Ward and I am a professor and researcher in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Northern Colorado. I am conducting a national study to build a database of information on jails throughout the United States, with the goal of understanding both rural and urban jails, their operational challenges, programming availability, and reentry-related services.

We are seeking one administrator from each facility to complete a brief online survey that will take approximately 15–20 minutes to complete. Your participation will provide valuable insights into the realities of jail management and contribute to a better understanding of the corrections landscape across the country.
